For more than 20 years, Timothy B. Soefje has represented professionals in malpractice claims, including lawyers and law firms, architects, engineers, design professionals, medical professionals, insurance agents/brokers, real estate agents/brokers, directors and officers, and others. He is admitted to practice law in Texas and Oklahoma.

Mr. Soefje is a certified Texas mediator, completing his certification at the nationally-recognized University of Texas School of Law Center for Public Policy Dispute Resolution Center. He focuses his mediation practice on the resolution of professional liability, fee dispute, personal injury, construction defect, real estate, and commercial matters.
Mr. Soefje currently serves as an outside consultant to OmniSure Consulting Group, LLC, a national leader in risk management and loss control services in architectural, engineering, and design professionals and medical negligence space. He is a regular contributor and speaker for seminars, webinars, and educational training programs, as well as a contributing writer and editor to industry publications. He also writes a blog Professional Liability Update.
As a former public relations professional and daily newspaper news editor, Mr. Soefje effectively provides large and small clients with crisis and disaster management leadership. He regularly provides professional development, seminars, webinars, training and other education for architects, engineers, and design professionals.
Mr. Soefje also represents college-level coaches in contract negotiation, employment consultation, NCAA compliance assistance, and business development. He can assists both coaches and universities with NCAA internal investigations, social media training, crises management, and Title IX consultation and litigation. Mr. Soefje is an active member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) and serves as the PGF Southwest Regional Director.

He also is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, which includes less than .05 percent of lawyers in Texas. He serves as the Co-Chair of the Professional Liability Defense Federation’s Miscellaneous Professional Liability Committee. Nicole Ward graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in May 2017. Her practice focuses on labor and employment law, professional liability, construction defect litigation, corporate law, and bankruptcy. She previously interned in-house for the general counsel at a nationwide building materials supplier and for an Administrative Law Judge at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). At OU, she was a member of the Order of Solicitors, and won the Best Brief Award at the 29th Annual Ruby R. Vale Interscholastic Corporate Moot Court Competition. She served as a member of the Organization for the Advancement of Women Lawyers and served as a CASA volunteer.
